We are looking for a talented, cloud native full stack developer to join our team at RAKE Digital Company. We are a small company of cloud engineers, developers, and digital storytellers. Our projects span the technical gamut of modern cloud environments, from serverless compute to sophisticated Kubernetes-based micro-services architectures.
The Azure Full Stack Developer will work with our cloud engineers, architects, and developers to deliver cloud native solutions in the areas of DevOps, platform automation, and application development. We’re seeking developers with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure technologies including App Services, Azure DevOps, Azure Database for SQL/MySQL/Cosmos, Container Services, and Kubernetes.
You’ll hit the ground running working on Assure, our cloud-based client funds reconciliation application. You’ll also work on our core product, platform:HR, a cloud agnostic automation platform for IT operations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:
- 4+ years design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level web applications utilizing cloud native technologies
- 4+ years of experience following SDLC methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
- 4+ years of experience with .NET custom development using C#
- 4+ years of experience with W3C standard web application scripting languages and interchanges such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, and jQuery
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps approaches for CI/CD, release management, and automation using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- 3+ years of experience with Git based repositories such as Github or Bitbucket
- 2+ years of experience with Node.Js
- 2+ years of experience with React.js
- 2+ years of experience with Razor Pages and/or ASP.NET Core Blazor
- 2+ years of experience with PowerShell for Azure
- 2+ years of experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- 2+ years of experience with Azure ARM or Terraform
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Our ideal candidate would also have experience in the following areas:
- Direct experience with deploying applications to Azure App Service
- Strong preference for experience deploying to Kubernetes or developing Helm charts
- Direct experience with building Jenkins or Azure DevOps pipelines
- Ability to lead technology discussions / workshops with customers
- Microsoft certifications for software development or cloud technologies
- Direct experience with HCM, Payroll, Banking, ISV, or MSP industries
- Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering
Work Location: We are currently hiring in Salem, VA as well as REMOTE POSITIONS

Salary: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 /year
