Full Job Description

Strong Kitchen Manager - Needed to execute at a high level.

We are looking for a strong Assistant Kitchen Manager (AKM) to work alongside our Kitchen Manager in one of our newest restaurants! Is this you?

Can you take direction from the Kitchen Manager and relay it to the hourly team, so they understand and execute? Can you open or close the restaurant without someone to hold your hand?

Can you CONSISTENTLY pump out delicious, hot food at high volume? …then you’ve come to the right place! You’re going to love working for Cactus Canyon and being a leader in our kitchen.

Role Summary

This leadership role will be responsible for ordering product, conducting inventory, recipe adherence, and will be the final set of eyes on every dish that leaves the kitchen.

Also, you will need to help teach and mentor the hourly cooks and assist with kitchen maintenance and cleanliness.

Position overview

Highlights: Hands on Ownership, Awesome Work/Life Balance, Zero Wokeness
Work Hours: Full time, 45-50 hours/ week
Base Salary: $45,000 – $65,000 with a 15% Bonus potential
Benefits: Group Medical, Dental, Vision. 12 Paid Days off annually.

Requirements

2+ years of kitchen management experience.
Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
Results driven, trustworthy and team oriented.
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time.
