Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking TWO detail-oriented and motivated Paralegals to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidates will provide be self starters and essential support to the attorneys primarily in family law, worker's compensation, and criminal defense. This role requires a strong understanding of legal procedures and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Knowledge of Clio required.

Duties

Assist attorney in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by conducting legal research and gathering relevant information.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and correspondence with clients.
Manage case files by organizing documents, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with legal deadlines.
Maintain accurate records of all communications.
Perform data entry tasks to update client information and case management systems.
Provide executive administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements for attorney.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and court personnel to facilitate case progress.

Skills

Proficiency in legal administrative tasks with a strong understanding of legal terminology.
Knowledge of litigation processes is preferred.
Strong skills in legal drafting with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documents.
Excellent data entry skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal for clear interaction with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
