Role:
To coordinate all post-closing functions and to ensure final investor purchase of loan file is processed in a timely manner.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
20% Follow investor guidelines to ship closed loan to investors by the rate lock/delivery expiration date.
20% Post-closing document preparation.
20% Send final documents to investors and maintain reports to insure all documents are delivered with in our allotted time.
15% Work all deficiency notices on delivered files to ensure purchase of the loan by investor.
10% Assist with quarterly quality control and internal/external auditors.
5% Maintain Mortgage Electronic Registration System registrations of new loans and servicing transfers.
5% Work quality control deficiency reviews of loans that have already been purchased by the investor.
5% Performs other related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
1. Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the credit union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act. Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities. Please refer to Annual Performance Goal document for remaining Performance Measurements.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills: Skill and ability to use and operate a computer keyboard, calculator, fax machine, copier and telephone. Skill and ability to read and understand financial statements, contracts, applications, computer printouts, manuals and other related materials. Must have the skill and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Environment: Work is performed indoors in an office environment with normal potential for exposure to safety and health hazards. May periodically travel to other, similar sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
