Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for hospitality excellence. This role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, menu development, and food quality assurance to ensure the highest standards are maintained across our restaurant or catering services. The Executive Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining food safety, managing inventory, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Duties

Lead and supervise the culinary team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and customer preferences, incorporating fine dining and catering elements.
Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to ensure consistency and excellence.
Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Coordinate banquet services, catering events, and special functions with attention to dietary requirements and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
Oversee kitchen staffing schedules, shift management, and training programs to foster professional development.
Collaborate with management on budget planning, procurement, and vendor relationships to support operational goals.
Monitor food industry trends to incorporate innovative techniques and menu items that enhance the dining experience.
Lead efforts in food service management, including serving standards, bartending coordination (if applicable), and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining, banquet, or catering environments with a strong background in culinary arts.
Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership in team management and kitchen management roles.
Extensive knowledge of food safety, inventory management, menu planning, and food handling procedures.
Experience in restaurant management, including shift management, food production, and food service operations.
Strong background in catering, food service management, and hospitality industry standards.
Skills in food preparation, cooking, culinary innovation, as well as managing dietary restrictions when necessary.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment.
