Full Job Description

Personal Banker -Roanoke, VA

To provide exceptional customer service to our membership. A key component of this service delivery is to identify the financial needs of each member and recommend an appropriate credit union solution. In addition, assists member/customers with a wide variety of services and advise as to how best utilize company products and services in order to meet their personal financial goals and provide the highest quality customer/member service. Be knowledgeable of all Beacon CU’s products and services. Opens accounts for members utilizing Beacons policies and procedures. Reviews and handles applications for loan requests. Ensure Beacon’s mission statement and service standards are met with every member every time. Meet and exceed the monthly sales and service goals. Hours: Monday-Friday 9-5, rotating weekends from 9-1p. m/f/v/d EOE

Strong understanding of financial concepts and analysis
Proficiency in financial services
Excellent mathematical skills
Experience in financial sales
Skills in investment and cash management
Ability to manage customer relationships effectively
