[Somerset Nails & Spa] offers a variety of services including hand, feet, and full body waxing.

About This Job

If you're an experienced manager with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment, please read on! We are seeking an experienced Salon Manager/Receptionist who is well-organized and professional to join our team. You will be responsible for the 'Duties and Responsibilities' described below along with standard reception duties, such as the greeting of all guests, answering the phone, assisting guests with questions regarding salon services and products, booking all appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed.

Qualifications

- Have a minimum of 4 years of spa or salon management + front desk experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Strong Organizational skills with strong follow-up initiative-based style.

- Communications, written and verbal are paramount for this role. Proactive thinking and entrepreneurial spirit are a must to be successful.

- High energy individual required to lead and develop and maintain a 6-day client service operation, managing staff and shift efficiencies and driving sales and revenue production. Must be flexible in managing hours around the staffing model to ensure the client experience is maintained.

- Be on time for your shift.

- Accurately book, change and cancel appointments.

- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves salon facility.

- Provide detailed descriptions of the salon, services, facility features and hours of operation.

- Utilize computers with skill and proficiency.

- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation.

- Actively promote the salon, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.

- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.

- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.

- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.

- Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.

- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the salon.

- Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.

- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
