Full Job Description

Are you responsible, efficient, and a good communicator who enjoys working with people?

Family Achievement Center is a pediatric therapy clinic seeking great people for our receptionist role. As the first person who greets our families, you must have efficient skills and be able to effectively communicate. You must possess a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with families that have special needs, while ensuring patient confidentiality in a healthcare setting. This position requires a confident person who is a team player and is ready to work hard while being part of a unique mission to provide hope and improve lives.

Key job functions:

Welcoming families into the clinic with the goal of an outstanding patient experience while using an EMR check-in system.
Answering phone calls to schedule and reschedule appointments in a fast-paced environment while providing a great customer service experience.
Answer questions or refer individuals to the appropriate person that can assist further.
Respond to unique situations in the lobby and effectively manage the situation with assistance from management when necessary.
Process payments on accounts, print statements, and connect patients to the billing team with complex questions.
Maintains patient confidentiality and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
Exhibits a strong aptitude for learning and following processes.
Other duties that may be necessary for outstanding clinic operations.

Required qualifications and skills:

Demonstrated strong work ethic by showing up to work on time, being dependable, and trustworthy.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Flexibility due to unexpected changes in workload and organizational need.
Demonstrated basic computer skills along with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Strong organizational skills.
Superior customer service skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written English proficiency required,
Prior receptionist/front desk experience is preferred.
