Job Overview
Are you passionate about storytelling through film? As a Film Maker Instructor, you will inspire and educate aspiring filmmakers in the art of visual storytelling. Your role will involve guiding students through the entire filmmaking process, from concept development to post-production. You’ll create an engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and collaboration, empowering students to express their unique voices through film.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver dynamic lessons on various aspects of filmmaking, including screenwriting, cinematography, editing, and directing.
Mentor students in developing their film projects, providing constructive feedback and support throughout the creative process.
Facilitate hands-on workshops that encourage experimentation with different filmmaking techniques and technologies.
Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, creativity, and confidence.

Qualifications

A strong background in filmmaking or a related field with practical experience in various filmmaking roles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.

Position: Future Film Youth Instructor
Students: 4th to 8th Grades
Dates: 8/31, 9/2, 9/9, 9/14, 9/16, 9/21, 9/23, 9/28, 9/30, 10/5, 10/7, 10/19, 10/21, 10/26, 10/28
Times: Monday and Wednesdays only- 5:00PM - 7:00 PM
Job Type: Part-time
Work Location: In person
