Full Job Description

SFS Group USA, Inc. – Division Automotive (GESIPA®)

Location: Midwest (Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota)

Location Requirements

This position is territory-based and requires the employee to reside within the assigned sales region. While a home office is permitted, this is not a fully remote position.

The successful candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time traveling throughout the assigned territory to visit customers, support business development activities, and maintain customer relationships. Regular in-person customer interaction is an essential function of this role.

Candidates must live within the designated territory and be able to travel extensively throughout the region.

Compensation: Base $85,000 – $100,000 along with performance-based bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve growth targets through distribution
Identify and close new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and industrial partners.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, delivering training and product demonstrations.
Build long-term partnerships by providing outstanding service and innovative solutions.
Track and report on pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
Represent SFS at trade shows, conferences, and customer visits across the Midwest.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve growth targets through distribution

Qualifications

Proven record of outperforming sales targets in fasteners, tools, or related industrial/automotive markets.
Strong technical aptitude — able to explain specifications and applications with confidence.
Skilled in negotiation, consultative selling, and relationship management.
Self-starter who thrives with autonomy in a multi-state territory.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
