Full Job Description

Job Title: Sales Consultant

Regular Full Time Status: Exempt

Job Description

· Become knowledgeable of all home products and services furnished by Homes of Harmony and its subcontractors. Visit vendors and suppliers as necessary to complete training phase or for continuing education.

· Learn new home construction process as it applies to Minnesota and Wisconsin.

· Engage in business planning sessions focused on sales center development and collaborate on personal goal setting activities within the company.

· Ensure accurate recording of leads in the company database, follow up on leads diligently, and track all customer contacts in the database.

· Conduct professional tours showcasing model home displays.

· Consult with customers on all phases of the building process, including: plan and design phase, present building plans and design options, present project quotes, complete house orders, sign building contracts, etc. Pricing and contracts will be prepared and approved by Ideal Homes’ office prior to presenting to the customer.

· Visit building sites as required.

· Maintain communication with the factory and subcontractors regarding home projects.

· Maintain accurate record of all project details and customer correspondence in main customer file.

· Ensure that all necessary documents and project details are completed before commencing each project. Conduct meetings with the Project Manager, subcontractors, or other relevant stakeholders to discuss necessary details both before and during the project's completion.

· Responsible for administering all phases of the contract, including but not limited to: ordering the home, finalizing building plans, process change order requests, contacting and securing sub-contractors, assisting in obtaining building permits, and working closely with field staff to ensure successful completion of each phase of the contract.

· Send billing to customers and follow-up to confirm receipt of payment.

· Ensure construction projects meet customer satisfaction through conducting final walk-throughs of homes, follow-up with clients, and providing a thank-you gift at company’s expense.

· Attend home / trade shows and open houses as needed.

· Assist in lot model cleaning as required; to include snow removal when necessary.

Job Requirements

Having sales skills and experience is essential.
Having strong communication skills is essential.
Knowledge or experience in the building and construction process preferred.
Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, is essential. Knowledge of Builder Trend software or similar lead tracking programs is required, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and handling all required paperwork efficiently. Possess strong customer service skills.
The work environment will primarily be at the Rochester location, encompassing office tasks and conducting tours of the models outdoors. There may also be occasional travel requirements to customer jobsites, home manufacturers, trade shows, and vendor locations.
A professional appearance is required.
Position to be full time 40 hours per week or as job requires; Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm with rotating Saturdays 10:00am-4:00pm. Hours may occasionally include open houses and trade shows. Schedule and hours may change to meet the needs of the company.

Job Types: Full-time, Commission

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
