The Environmental Technician position is a challenging, field-based role involving working on client sites to supervise and monitor asbestos abatement projects. Collection and analysis of air samples. Perform onsite inspections. Prepare detailed paperwork documenting job site activities. Building and maintaining strong relationships. Collaborating with internal teams and other professionals to ensure effective project coordination and timely delivery of services. Obtain and maintain necessary certifications needed to include NIOSH 582, Minnesota 2-Day Air, Asbestos Site Supervisor, and Asbestos Inspector.

Required Qualifications:
2,000 hours of work experience in general construction trades, asbestos-related work, safety, industrial hygiene, or hazardous materials control. OR
- Bachelor's degree in physical or life sciences, engineering or architecture and 500 hours of work experience in the areas listed above. OR
- Completion of an apprentice program within the general commercial construction trades.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation.
- Comfortable wearing a respirator with the ability to pass a respirator physical.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

The typical salary range for this position ranges from $24-$26 per hour. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
