Powersports Service Advisor / Service Writer

Compensation & Schedule

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay Range: $58699- $63752 (Depending on customer service or automotive / powersports advisor experience)
Schedule: Day shifts (Tuesday – Saturday). No late nights!

Your Core Mission

As a Service Advisor (Service Writer), you are the critical bridge between our riders and our service technicians. You aren’t turning wrenches; instead, you are the coordinator who listens to the customer's vehicle issues, writes up accurate work orders, hands them off to the mechanics, and keeps the customer updated on their repair progress. You turn stressful breakdown situations into great customer experiences.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Welcome Riders: Greet customers in the service lane, listen to their machine concerns, and document repair needs accurately.
Build Work Orders: Translate customer concerns into clear instructions for our service technicians using our dealership software.
Communicate & Quote: Call or text customers to explain technician diagnoses, provide repair cost estimates, and get approvals.
Coordinate Workflows: Keep track of repair timelines and ensure vehicles are prepped, and ready for customer pickup.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

The Vibe: An outgoing communicator who stays cool under pressure and loves building relationships with customers.
Organization Skills: Sharp attention to detail. You can juggle phone calls, customer check-ins, and technician updates without breaking a sweat.
Coordinate: Manage warranty claims.
The Tech: Comfortable using basic computer systems to look up vehicle data and type out clear repair orders.
Experience: Previous service writing, automotive service advising, service scheduling, or high-volume retail customer service is helpful—but your attitude, communication skills, and drive matter most.
