Job Summary
The Treatment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless patient experience within our dental office. This position involves coordinating patient treatment plans, managing medical records, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of dental administrative processes.

Duties

Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information regarding treatment options.
Manage scheduling to ensure efficient appointment flow and optimal patient care.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, assisting patients with understanding their financial responsibilities.
Maintain accurate health information management by updating patient records.
Handle collections in a professional manner, working with patients to resolve outstanding balances.
Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
Provide administrative support by filing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized records.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving customer service and administrative support.
Familiarity with dental and health information management practices is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using dental software.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to providing excellent customer service and fostering positive patient relationships.
