Full Job Description

We are seeking First and Second Shift - CNC Setup Operators to join our team! The CNC Setup Operator will help set up jobs, oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities:

Set up CNC Swiss-style and/or CNC lathe machines based on job specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Load and unload programs, equipment and materials
Provide innovative solutions and work with engineers and programmers to improve efficiency, optimize processes and troubleshoot issues.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
Maintain accurate setup sheets, tool lists, job notes within the ERP system.
Maintain records for equipment and procedures

Qualifications:

3-5+ years experience setting up CNC Swiss or CNC lathe machines
Deep understanding of tooling, fixturing, speeds/feeds and machining strategy
Proficiency reading technical drawings and geometric tolerancing
Ability to make on-the-fly adjustments to improve part quality or reduce cycle time
Familiarity with Citizen, Star, Tsugami and/or similar platforms preferred
ERP (Epicor/Kinetic) experience a plus
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
