Full Job Description

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Rochester General Hospital. Whether you're an experienced provider or a highly motivated new graduate, you'll have the opportunity to care for a diverse inpatient population while working alongside supportive physicians and advanced practice providers committed to exceptional patient care.

Status: Full-Time
Location: Rochester General Hospital
Department: Hospital Medicine
Schedule: Night Shift
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in hospitalized patients
Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
Order and interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory testing
Prescribe medications and coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary teams
Communicate with patients, families, consulting services, and attending physicians
Provide patient education and support throughout hospitalization
Complete timely documentation and medical record management

Preferred

Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or related clinical experience
Highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
