Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, hands-on Recruiter to support high-volume staffing across multiple clients.
This position may require travel to local client locations based on business and client needs. The Recruiter may be asked to provide on-site support for recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, client meetings, or other workforce needs.
This is an agency-style recruiting and client-facing role. You will own the full recruiting cycle while also serving as a day-to-day partner to client contacts. You will manage multiple requisitions, respond to changing hiring needs in real time, maintain active candidate pipelines, and keep the recruiting process moving quickly from application through onboarding.
This role requires someone with a genuine sense of urgency. This position requires immediate response to open positions and timely response to requests.
Organization and adaptability dealing with a high volume of applicants, requisitions, and able to shift priorities quickly while maintaining strong communication and follow-through are critical to the role.
What You’ll Do
Own Full-Cycle Recruiting
· Collaborate directly with client account managers to align on candidate profiles and drastically reduce time-to-fill metrics.
- Manage requisitions from intake through offer and onboarding.
- Review and work new applicants daily within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Conduct fast, effective phone screens to evaluate qualifications, availability, job fit, and candidate interest.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps with candidates and client contacts.
- Make offers quickly and maintains candidate engagement through the hiring and onboarding process.
- Maintain accurate candidate dispositions, notes, and recruiting activity within the ATS.
- Proactively source active and passive candidates using job boards, internal talent pools, social media, referrals, community outreach, recruiting events, and other sourcing channels.
- Think beyond job postings when applicant flow or candidate quality is not meeting hiring needs.
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated openings.
- Maintain backup candidates whenever possible to respond quickly to candidate withdrawals, no-shows, unexpected openings, and changing client demand.
- Adjust sourcing strategies when something is not working rather than continuing the same approach and hoping for different results.
- Manage multiple requisitions, hiring priorities, and client requests simultaneously.
- Monitor recruiting activity and identify positions or candidates that are stalled.
- Maintain consistent candidate communication throughout the process.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure candidates understand requirements, deadlines, schedules, and next steps.
- Partner closely with internal recruiting, HR, operations, and support teams to meet hiring goals.
- Participate in job fairs, hiring events, orientations, and onsite recruiting activities as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recruiting experience required, with staffing agency or high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle recruitment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven or metrics-driven recruiting environment.
- Strong sourcing skills and experience using multiple recruiting channels.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions, candidates, client contacts, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while knowing when to escalate an issue.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
