Full Job Description

Grounds Management Manager

Munaco Landscape is seeking an experienced Grounds Management Manager to lead and oversee our Maintenance, Enhancement, and Snow Removal Divisions.

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing daily operations, leading field teams, maintaining client relationships, ensuring quality standards, overseeing snow removal operations, and driving the overall success and growth of the department.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or grounds management, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage teams and operations in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Maintenance and Enhancement Division
Lead, manage, and develop field crews, supervisors, and team members
Run and oversee the Snow Removal Division, including planning, staffing, scheduling, equipment, and winter operations
Plan and coordinate crew schedules, routes, materials, equipment, and resources
Ensure all maintenance, enhancement, and snow removal services are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to company standards
Conduct regular property inspections and quality control visits
Maintain strong relationships with clients and respond professionally to service concerns and requests
Identify opportunities for landscape enhancements, additional services, and account growth
Monitor labor efficiency, job profitability, production, and departmental performance
Work closely with company leadership to improve operational processes and efficiency
Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of field employees
Ensure teams follow company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Help build a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and customer service

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, grounds management, snow removal, or a related field
Previous management or supervisory experience in the landscaping industry
Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance, turf care, plant material, irrigation, seasonal services, landscape enhancements, and snow removal operations
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to manage multiple crews, properties, projects, and priorities simultaneously
Comfortable working outdoors and regularly visiting job sites
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

$75,000 to $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
