Full Job Description

We’re seeking a positive, dependable team player who learns quickly, cares deeply about patients and coworkers, and takes ownership of their role. No chiropractic experience required; we train skills on the job. We value professionalism, kindness, and strict adherence to policies.

Role highlights

Schedule: Full-time is three 12-hour shifts (6:30am–7:00pm) plus Saturdays 8:30am–12:00pm (~36–39 hours). Option for 10-hour shifts (9:00am–7:00pm) may be available.
Saturdays-all new staff work every Saturday-these are required and non-negotiable; we accommodate occasional requests off with notice. After the first year, we go on rotation to every other weekend, and of course requests.
Closed major holidays; holiday eves open until 1:00pm. No nights, no holidays, no Sundays.
Current opening schedule: Monday/Thursday/Friday 630a-7p & every Saturday 830a-12

Compensation

Starting at $15/hour; pay based on experience and qualifications.
Raises based on performance, dedication, flexibility, and strengths.

Random bonuses and gifts are regularly given-birthdays, anniversaries, and various other times throughout the year-these are all based on performance as well.
Compensation is performance-based and reflects effort, abilities, and a proven record of reliability, flexibility, dedication to the clinic, and teamwork—exceptional contributors are rewarded.Key responsibilities
Reception and patient support: answer calls, schedule, confirm/missed-appointment outreach, intake assistance, professional phone etiquette.
Documentation: accurate charting, notes, data entry; clear spelling and grammar.
Financials: collect payments, review care costs with patients, basic bookkeeping, verify insurance online/phone.
Clinic flow: multitask across phones/patients/doctor support, prioritize during busy periods, assist with therapies as needed.
Daily operations: light housekeeping; opening/closing tasks; other duties as assigned.

Helpful but not required Skills

Proven experience in medical office management or as a medical receptionist in a busy clinical setting, preferably in chiropractic or dental clinics
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR/EHR systems
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical billing practices including Medicare procedures
Familiarity with health information management policies including HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor and effective phone communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and office operations
Excellent written and verbal communication; polished phone skills.
Computer proficiency; able to learn clinic software.
Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and calm under pressure.
Flexible, proactive, resourceful; strong teamwork and a can-do attitude.
Upbeat, genuinely kind, and patient-focused.

Scrubs are available to you after 2 months. Wearing black top and bottom are fine until you reach 2 months.
$1 chiropractic adjustments or you, spouse/partner, and children under 18.
Free therapies and X-rays for you, spouse/partner, and children under 18.
Product discounts at the clinic and our attached store (Hempire).
Massages/Acupuncture: $20 per 30 minutes (+ $5 for needles for Acu.)
Paid time off: 1 week after 1 year; 2 weeks/year after 2 years, 3 years+ is 3 weeks PTO per year.
Dental, vision, short-term disability, and $25K life insurance at no cost to you after 90 days of employment.
