Full Job Description

RE&LS is seeking a full-time experienced Architectural/Structural Revit Designer to be part of our growing Structural Engineering Team!

The Architectural/Structural Revit Designer at Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. is responsible for developing accurate 3D models and detailed construction documents for structural engineering projects using Autodesk Revit. This role works closely with structural engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver coordinated, high-quality design drawings and models that meet project specifications, codes, and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for structural systems, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
Develop construction documents, plans, sections, details, and schedules from Revit models.
Coordinate structural models with architectural, MEP, and civil disciplines to resolve conflicts.
Assist engineers in preparing design calculations and incorporating them into models/drawings.
Update models and drawings throughout design development, construction documentation, and as-built phases.
Ensure compliance with company CAD/BIM standards and industry codes.
Prepare Revit families, templates, and libraries specific to structural elements.
Support clash detection and model coordination reviews with project teams.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Civil/Structural Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structural).
Experience with AutoCAD, or other BIM tools preferred.
Knowledge of structural systems, detailing, and construction methods.
Familiarity with building codes and structural engineering standards.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial structural projects.
Knowledge of steel and concrete detailing standards.
Familiarity with Bluebeam, BIM 360, or similar collaboration platforms.
Autodesk Revit Structure Certification or other BIM-related credentials.

Compensation:

Competitive Salary $24-35/hr based on experience.
