Full Job Description

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an exceptional Oncology Veterinary Assistant in Olympia, Washington!

Pay: $22 - $36 / hour

Pay is dependent on experience and leveling through the Kahuna leveling system.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:00pm

As an Oncology Veterinary Assistant, you will:

Assist the Technicians and Doctors monitoring patient who is receiving a chemotherapy infusion

Ability to set up appropriate materials for short and long chemotherapy administration

Comfortable with restraint

Ability to safely dispense, reconstitute and administered SQ/IM chemotherapy agents

Stocking and cleaning

Ability to properly wrap and shave for an IV catheter for chemotherapy infusion
