Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Aerospace Brazer, where you will play a vital role in fabricating and assembling high-precision aerospace components. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced metal fabrication techniques, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. As an Aerospace Brazer, you will utilize your expertise in welding, blueprint reading, and mechanical fabrication to contribute to cutting-edge aerospace projects. Your skills will help maintain our reputation for excellence in the aerospace industry while supporting innovative manufacturing processes.

Duties

Perform metal brazing using various techniques to join aerospace-grade materials
Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble components according to guidelines
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and shop math with precision
Conduct rigging, assembly, and installation of aerospace components while adhering to strict safety protocols
Maintain detailed records of welding procedures, inspection reports, and quality control documentation in compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with owners on fabrication shop tasks involving mechanical fabrication and assembly

Skills

Proficiency in brazing techniques according to industry standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints accurately
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, shop math, and schematics for precise fabrication work
Knowledge of ASME codes & standards for manufacturing and welding practices within aerospace environments
Experience with rigging, pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake operation, soldering, and gas metal arc welding
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to machining operations and aerospace component assembly
