Hospice & Community Care of Rock Hill, SC is actively hiring a Hospice House Unit Manager (RN) to provide leadership and operational oversight of the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.

Shift Details: 4x10 shifts/week, you choose the days!

At Hospice & Community Care, we've been providing exceptional end-of-life care for 40 years. As a nonprofit deeply rooted in the Rock Hill, SC community, we go beyond traditional hospice services; offering charity care, grief support, a free medical equipment closet, and dedicated programs for our veterans.

Hospice & Community Care’s Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House is the only free-standing inpatient hospice facility in the area. The Hospice House provides hospice patients with expert care for pain control and symptom management, offers caregivers respite, and provides a place for patients who may need the safety and security of residential hospice care.

The ideal candidate for the Hospice House Unit Manager (RN) role is a strong nursing leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and partnering with leadership to create a positive environment for both patients and staff. What You’ll Do:

Manage daily hospice inpatient unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
Provide leadership, coaching, feedback, and performance support to nursing staff.
Conduct employee evaluations and participate in performance management activities.
Monitor quality outcomes, compliance standards, and survey readiness.
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop inpatient unit team members.
Promote a positive, accountable workplace culture.

What You’ll Need:

Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Minimum 3-5 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in hospice, palliative care, acute care, or a comparable healthcare setting.
Previous leadership, supervisory, or charge nurse experience with responsibility for staff oversight and daily operations.
Strong knowledge of state and federal hospice regulations, reimbursement requirements, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
Ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary team members.
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems; experience with WellSky EMR preferred.
