Associate Veterinarian

Newport Veterinary Hospital – Rock Hill, SC

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 total compensation with production
Base Salary: $115,000–$140,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $30,000

Newport Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative, long-tenured team in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Whether you're an experienced veterinarian looking for a positive culture and excellent work-life balance or a motivated new graduate seeking mentorship, you'll find the support, autonomy, and resources to build the career you want here. We're seeking someone who values strong client relationships, enjoys collaborating with teammates, practices high-quality medicine, and wants to become part of a hospital where people genuinely enjoy coming to work every day. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats while building lasting relationships with clients who value personalized, compassionate veterinary care.

What to Expect

A schedule that respects your time. Enjoy a four-day work week with rotating Saturdays, no on-call responsibilities, and no late nights. Our last appointments are typically scheduled for 5:00 PM, with occasional 5:30 PM appointments only when approved by the doctor.
A 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. You'll work alongside an experienced, collaborative support team that allows you to focus on practicing great medicine. Our team includes experienced assistants, dedicated client service representatives, and technicians, with one team member currently completing licensed technician training.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
Valid veterinary license in the state of South Carolina (or ability to obtain)
Passion for providing high-quality medicine and exceptional client communication
