Full Job Description

QC Laboratory Chemist | cGMP | FDA

(Must have at least 2 years' of INDUSTRY experience in a cGMP Laboratory and a BS in CHEMISTRY only).

Charlotte, NC Metro Area
Salary range $70k-80k plus discretionary bonus potential worth 12%
US Citizens or Green Card Holders only.
Monday – Thursday 3pm - 11:30pm & Friday 1:30pm – 9:30pm

Job Summary
Support testing activities in a cGMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate will perform various analytical tests, manage laboratory compliance, and troubleshoot instrumentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry only is mandatory.
2–5 years of INDUSTRY experience in a cGMP laboratory environment is mandatory.
Experience with HPLC, GC & LC is MANDATORY
Hands-on experience with Empower Software is MANDATORY.
Proficient in laboratory analytical techniques such as titrations, gravimetric methods and sample preparation.
Strong understanding of GMP documentation practices.

Responsibilities

Perform release, stability, and special-request testing of finished products and raw materials.
Independently execute laboratory methods with minimal supervision.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, and FTIR.
Assist with laboratory investigations, including Out-of-Specification (OOS) results.
