We are seeking a highly organized, proactive professional to combine Executive Assistant, Human Resources, and Office Management responsibilities for a small–to–mid-sized construction company. This role supports the owner and the operations team by managing HR functions, overseeing day-to-day office operations, and providing high-level administrative support to the owner to help drive company efficiency and culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, offboarding, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate employee performance management, training and development initiatives, employee relations, and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and job descriptions.
- Oversee daily office operations, including office supplies, equipment, vendor relationships, facilities management, assist of office budget, expense tracking, and efficient office systems and recordkeeping.
- Serve as Executive Assistant to the Owner by managing calendars, travel arrangements, meeting preparation and follow-up, correspondence, reports, presentations, and confidential communications.
- Coordinate special projects, monitor project timelines, facilitate internal communications, and provide administrative support to executive and management meetings.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative processes and workflows that support organizational effectiveness and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience directly related to office and Human Resources management.
- Working knowledge of employment law, payroll processes, benefits administration, and OSHA/safety basics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with project management tools preferred.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and professional presence.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential matters with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Construction industry experience strongly preferred.
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
