Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Precision Grinder to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for producing high-precision components and parts through meticulous grinding processes. Your expertise will ensure that all products meet strict quality standards and specifications, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and tools in a dynamic, fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation.

Duties

Operate and set up precision grinding machines, including ID/OD, surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, and centerless grinders, to achieve exact specifications.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions to determine grinding requirements.
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on grinding equipment and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct quality inspections on finished parts using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols

Requirements

Proven experience operating precision grinding machinery in a manufacturing setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes
Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with quality inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise machining.

Pay: $18.75 - $22.00 per hour
