Job Function

Maintain a high level of respect and customer service for patients, staff members, families, and fellow crew members.
Prepares to transport patients by completing operator vehicle inspections, inventorying supplies, and correcting deficiencies.
Respond to emergencies/assignments; observe traffic conditions; avoid dangerous situations; maintain communications with dispatch.
Determine medical and safety requirements on scene by assessing the medical status of ill or injured persons; assessing prevailing circumstances; and calling for support.
Stabilize ill or injured persons by rendering first aid; and relaying status to medical personnel.
Maintain safety and healthy conditions by following the procedures and policies of AlphaOne Ambulance and SCEMSA.

Qualifications Needed for an Interview:

Job Types:

Full-time 30+ hours
NOTICE: Per current Operational needs, we are hiring for full-time roles only. Full-time shifts are considered to be three (3), 10-hour shifts per week.

Part-time 29 hours or less

Pay:

$20.90/hour (10-hour shift; $19 base for first 8 hours with 2 hours overtime)

$22.17/hour (12-hour shift; $19 base for first 8 hours with 4 hours overtime)

$2 night differential

EMT Annual Wages: $43,000 - $94,000
