Full Job Description

Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager — Part-Time, In-House

We are a high-end residential remodeling and general contracting company in Sacramento, CA, doing about $2M in annual volume. We're looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team, help us transition from Sage 100 Contractor to QuickBooks Online, and support light HR/office management as we grow.

What You'll Do:

Full-cycle bookkeeping: AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll support, monthly close

Job costing and WIP (Work in Progress) tracking by project

Learn our current Sage 100 Contractor system, then lead the migration to QuickBooks Online

Support basic HR tasks: onboarding, health benefits, insurance coordination

General office management as needed

What You Need:

Must know QuickBooks Online

Experience with job costing and WIP accounting — construction background preferred

Comfortable learning new software; Sage 100 Contractor experience a plus

Organized, detail-oriented, and trustworthy with financial and personnel info

Schedule: 15–20 hrs/week, flexible within 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Room to grow into more hours over time.

Location: In-house, Sacramento, CA. No remote work.

Pay: $30–$34/hour, depending on experience.

Paid holidays. (6 total). 50% of health and dental insurance, flexible schedule, paid training

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.25 - $36.43 per hour
