Full Job Description

ScriptwoRx is an independent Long Term Care Pharmacy located in Rocky Mount, NC. We are currently seeking a staff pharmacist to join our team.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice in North Carolina (required)
Pharmacist experience in long term care (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities:

Interpret medication orders and provide pharmaceutical services to long term care patients, such as: monitoring drug therapy regimens for contraindications, duplications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies, and appropriateness of drug, dose, and frequency
Compound and dispense medications
Review/interpret laboratory data for therapy appropriateness and recommend changes as needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support when needed
Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately and completely
Adhere to the company's policies and procedures, state and federal guidelines.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 10:30 am to 7:30 pm (end time depends on time of completion after 7:00 pm cut off)
Rotating on-call/weekend schedule
