Job Description
The Learning Lab Coordinator is responsible for leading students through structured STEM, social-emotional learning (SEL), and career-readiness activities in a lab-style environment. This role includes managing a dynamic space where students build soft skills, explore STEM-related career pathways, and develop academic and personal growth strategies. The coordinator also plays a key role in supporting digital learning by managing technology needs and maintaining library/media resources to ensure smooth school operations.
Primary Responsibilities

Supervise and support students working on STEM-based projects, SEL modules, and career-preparation activities

Lead small group instruction and one-on-one support to reinforce 21st-century skills and student engagement

Support student exploration of STEM careers and connect learning to real-world applications

Manage Chromebook distribution, repair tracking, and general troubleshooting

Maintain and organize library/media center resources and inventory

Coordinate with teachers to align lab activities with schoolwide academic and behavioral goals

Promote a positive, inclusive, and hands-on learning environment centered on student growth

Attend training and meetings related to student services, STEM enrichment, or academic support initiatives
Additional Job Functions
Participates in staff development workshops. Performs other related work as required.
Minimum Training and Experience
High School diploma.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR STANDARDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Physical Requirements: Must be able to use a variety of equipment and classroom tools such as computers, copiers, typewriters, calculators, pencils, scissors, equipment for children with special needs, etc. Must be able to exert a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Due to amount of time spent standing and/or walking, physical requirements are consistent with those for Light Work.
Data Conception: Requires the ability to compare and/or judge the readily observable, functional, structural, or composite characteristics (whether similar to or divergent from obvious standards) of data, people or things.
