Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Project Manager for Steel Construction to lead complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with construction regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and proficiency with industry-standard project management software to drive projects forward with precision and enthusiasm.

Duties

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of steel construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate all phases of construction
Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage project budgets by tracking costs meticulously using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools; implement cost control measures as needed
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth communication and project progression
Ensure adherence to all construction regulations and safety standards on-site through regular inspections and compliance checks
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes
Lead teams effectively by managing construction site activities, scheduling labor resources efficiently, and fostering a collaborative work environment

Experience

Proven experience managing large-scale steel or heavy civil infrastructure projects in a construction management role
Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques with proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar tools
Strong background in managing complex budgets and cost estimates using HeavyBid or comparable software
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards
Familiarity with civil engineering concepts such as Civil 3D is a plus
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams in fast-paced environments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail
