Full Job Description

Superior Mazda is seeking an Experienced Automotive Parts Advisor for our growing business needs!

At Superior Mazda, we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality service at every step of the car ownership process. That means delivering genuine OEM parts to our customers whether they need repairs at our dealership or want to improve their car with new accessories.

Our parts department keeps a large inventory of factory OEM parts in stock at all times because we know how important it is to fit the vehicles we’re servicing with genuine manufacturer parts. In fact, using factory parts over aftermarket parts can be the difference between having a car that lasts for ten years or more and a car that dies out prematurely.

Whether our customers are considering maintenance, repairs, or accessorizing their vehicle, we can ensure they're getting the right product at a fair price by purchasing their parts and accessories directly from our parts department.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a professional manner – both in person and over the phone
Provide superior customer service by listening to the customer, asking probing questions to ensure understanding of their needs, and supplying parts in a timely manner
Ability to communicate via phone and email
Pull parts from stock and re-order if necessary
Maintain the Parts Department in an organized manner
Package and ship parts as needed
Remain familiar with current advertised specials
Coordinate with the Parts Manager
Other duties as assigned

Skills necessary to be successful in this role include:

Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
Automotive parts experience at a dealership and or aftermarket parts (O'Reilly’s, Autozone)
Familiarity with CDK is preferred but not required
Proficient time management and organizational skills
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a professional manner
Outgoing, personable, and motivated with superior work ethic
Able to adapt to change quickly
Fast-paced. Applicants for this position must have a strong work ethic. (Required)
Lifting is required
There will be a lot of moving parts to this position (pun intended). Applicants will need high attention to detail and organizational skills. (Required)
This is a team-oriented position. Applicants need to be punctual and present during their scheduled shifts. Applicants must also work well with others. (Required)
Automotive parts experience (1 year minimum).
Dealership experience and CDK experience. (Highly recommended
This position requires applicants to learn and use multiple software programs. Google/Excel spreadsheet experience is a plus. (Highly recommended).
