Overview
We are seeking a proactive and organized Direct Support Professional / Assistant to the Coordinator & Director to join our dynamic team. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative support, coordinate projects, and assist with event planning, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others succeed. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing office functions, supporting leadership, and fostering a positive environment that promotes efficiency and collaboration.

Position Overview:

Primarily a direct support role, providing hands-on care to residents in a small group home setting
Occasional assistance to the Direct Care Coordinator and Director/Manager with administrative and operational tasks

Primary Responsibilities:

Support residents with daily living activities, personal care, meals, and medication support
Assist with community outings and appointments
Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful home environment
Build positive, person-centered relationships with residents

Additional Responsibilities (as needed):

Assist leadership with documentation and basic administrative tasks
Scan and organize documents into electronic systems
Help with filing, record organization, and compliance-related paperwork
Provide occasional support with scheduling or coverage needs

Required Skills & Qualities:

Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
Comfortable using computers and electronic record systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications:

Experience in a 245D or human services setting preferred (training provided)
Ability to pass a background study
Willingness to support both direct care and occasional administrative tasks

Compensation & Growth:

Starting pay of $22 per hour
Increase to $25 per hour after one year, contingent on performance
Opportunities for growth and increased responsibility over time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
