Full Job Description

Job Title: Case Manager – Victim Services Agency

This is a part time position with a maximum of 25 hours per week. Flexibility in scheduling but is based on the needs of the clients; some nights and weekend hours may be required to fulfill this obligation.

Job Summary:
The Case Manager provides trauma-informed, client-centered advocacy and support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and/or human trafficking. This position helps clients access safety planning, crisis intervention, community resources, and supportive services while empowering them to achieve stability, independence, and long-term well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct client intake assessments and evaluate immediate safety needs.
Develop individualized service plans based on each client's goals and circumstances.
Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and safety planning.
Assist clients with obtaining housing, legal assistance, financial resources, healthcare, counseling, employment, and public benefits.
Maintain regular contact with clients to monitor progress and adjust service plans as needed.
Advocate on behalf of clients with community agencies, courts, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and other service organizations.
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client documentation in accordance with agency policies and legal requirements.
Educate clients about their rights, available resources, and options.
Facilitate support groups or educational workshops when assigned.
Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Comply with all confidentiality, mandatory reporting, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or a related field (or equivalent experience, depending on agency requirements). Must have a least one year of case management experience.
Experience working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other vulnerable populations preferred.
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and community resources.
Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining accurate documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
Valid driver's license (must be a Real ID or have another form of Real ID) and ability to pass a federal back to obtain a FLW post pass

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of domestic violence dynamics, trauma, and victim advocacy.
Ability to build trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office, shelter, or community setting.
May require occasional evening or weekend hours to best meet client needs and schedules.
Ability to respond calmly and effectively during crisis situations.
Local travel may be required to accompany clients to appointments or court proceedings (agency vehicle is available for use).

Part time: 25 hours per week. Starting pay is $18.64 per hour. Personal Time accrues after 90 days, no other benefits are offered.
