Front Desk Coordinator — Growth Path to Office Manager Mitchell Clinic | St. James, MO | Full-Time

Mitchell Clinic is a small, family-owned chiropractic practice in St. James, Missouri. We treat the whole family — prenatal, pediatric, sports and rehab, and general adult care — and we've built the office around one idea: people should leave feeling better than they walked in, and that starts with how they're treated at the front desk.

We're hiring a Front Desk Coordinator with medical office experience who wants more than a front desk job. This role is built to grow. As you learn our systems and prove you can own more, we'll hand you more — with the goal of growing you into an Office Manager role over time, taking on scheduling oversight, insurance and billing coordination, and day-to-day operations.

What you'll do day to day:

Greet patients and manage the front desk — phones, check-in/check-out, scheduling (we book by phone, messaging, and through our website)
Verify insurance and handle basic billing questions across our mix of insurance-billed and self-pay patients
Keep our EHR (ChiroUp) and patient communications (appointment reminders and follow-up messaging) accurate and up to date
Support day-to-day office operations and pitch in wherever the day needs it
As you grow into more responsibility: help oversee scheduling, assist with insurance specialist duties, and take on operational ownership

What we're looking for:

Administrative or front-desk experience in a medical, dental, chiropractic, or similar office — scheduling, billing, insurance verification, or office management. This is a desk role, not a patient-care role.
Comfortable on the phone and organized under a full schedule
Someone who wants to grow — this isn't a role we're looking to backfill in a year, it's a role we're looking to build up
Genuinely good with people, including babies! We'd rather train the systems than train the warmth.
