Job Overview

Do you have a passion for design, an appreciation for luxury products, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service?

Artistic Tile is seeking an Inside Stone Slab Sales Consultant to join our team at our soon-to-open Chicago Slab Gallery. As a member of our dynamic showroom team, you will serve as a primary point of contact for architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and homeowners, guiding clients through the stone slab selection process while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This position is scheduled five days per week, including a rotating Saturday schedule. Training location - The Mart - Downtown Chicago.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a thorough knowledge of Artistic Tile's natural stone collections, luxury product offerings, and custom fabrication capabilities.
Assist clients in selecting natural stone slabs that align with their design vision, aesthetic preferences, and project requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, builders, and homeowners through exceptional service and product expertise.
Collaborate with showroom sales associates and the slab operations team to ensure a seamless customer experience from selection through fulfillment.
Maintain accurate client profiles, project details, and sales activities within the company's CRM system.
Participate in showroom events, client presentations, and promotional activities.
Perform reception and administrative duties as needed.
Help maintain the organization, cleanliness, and presentation of the showroom and slab gallery.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support business operations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the natural stone, slab, tile, or related luxury building materials industry.
Microsoft Office 365
Strong design sensibility with the ability to inspire clients and recommend products that complement their projects.
Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions within established company guidelines.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special showroom events as business needs require.
Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following is a plus:

Luxury retail or luxury product sales strongly preferred
NetSuite ERP
CRM platforms
