About Us

Georgia Highlands College is a multi-campus, state college member of the University System of Georgia. Founded in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, it now serves more than 6,000 students in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama across its five locations in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, and Dallas. Job Summary

This position will supervise nursing students in the clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily supervision and guidance of 6-8 nursing students in the clinical setting
Responsible for checking students on required skills, grading paperwork, and evaluating performance.
Occasional attendance at course
Coordinating meetings may be required

Required Qualifications

A minimum of a Baccalaureate is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Clinical experience needed varies by course, applicant must have at least two years of experience in the required area.

Proposed Salary

Commensurate with experience and education.
