Job Title: bread baker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook or bread baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of pastries, and baked goods in accordance with our recipes and quality standards. As a Pastry Cook, you will play a key role in contributing to our customers' dining experience by creating visually appealing and delicious treats.

Duties:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of breads and pastries
- Decorate breads using various techniques to enhance their presentation.
- Follow recipes accurately while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in packaging products for display or take-out orders.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate dessert offerings with the overall menu.
- Contribute creative ideas for new pastry items to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or similar role in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Knowledge of pastry techniques, cake decorating, and dessert presentation.
- Understanding of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests when necessary.
- Proficiency in working with knives and other kitchen tools safely.
