Position Summary
The Program Analyst is a versatile contributor within GI's experiential learning team, responsible for both the hands-on coordination of participant-facing activities, operational management of program logistics, and oversight of subcontracts. This role blends direct engagement with student interns and scholars with the administrative and compliance responsibilities necessary to keep multi-partner workforce programs running effectively. Program Analysts work in close collaboration with each other and report to the Senior Director of Experiential Learning who provides strategic direction and oversight.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Program Operations and Partner Coordination
· Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned workforce initiatives, ensuring program activities are implemented effectively, on schedule, and in alignment with grant requirements and sponsor expectations.
· Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with the Senior Director of Experiential Learning.
· Serve as a point of operational contact for university subcontractors, community college partners, and industry stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication across the partner network.
· Coordinate scheduling, event logistics, and administrative support for annual symposia, innovation challenges, and other programmatic activities.
· Facilitate cross-functional alignment across internal GI teams and external partners to address operational challenges and optimize program impact.
· Participant Support and Engagement
· Provide direct administrative and participant-facing support to interns, scholars, and student participants, serving as a primary point of contact throughout their program experience.
· Manage intern and scholar communications, including onboarding, placement logistics, travel arrangements, housing coordination, and stipend processing.
· Support community college transfer student engagement, including stipend disbursement and coordination with university partners to facilitate smooth academic pathways.
· Provide timely guidance, resources, and encouragement to participants to maximize their experience and outcomes.
· Reporting, Compliance, and Data Management
· Track participant progress, intern placements, and program outcomes, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports for the Senior Director of Experiential Learning and other Key Personnel.
· Collaborate with program leadership and data personnel to ensure accurate collection and reporting of student outcomes and program effectiveness data.
· Produce compliance documentation, progress reports, and stakeholder updates as required for program sponsors.
· Track and analyze program performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics; contribute to regular progress reporting.
· Maintain operational excellence by managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring program activities meet quality standards.
· Identify and communicate operational challenges to the Senior Director of Experiential Learning, contributing to continuous improvement across program logistics and participant support.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
· Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure smooth execution of program activities.
· Excellent participant-facing communication skills, with experience in engaging students, interns, and academic or industry partners in a supportive and professional manner.
· Demonstrated ability to manage program logistics and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple concurrent activities.
· Proficient in tracking data, managing program records, and producing reports that support operational improvement and sponsor compliance.
· Skilled written and verbal communicator with experience producing stakeholder updates, participant communications, and progress reports.
· Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience
· 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, program management, workforce development, or related field.
· Experience providing direct support to student populations is preferred.
· Experience coordinating partnerships between educational institutions, industry, or government sponsors is a plus.
· Familiarity with federally sponsored programs, grant compliance and reporting requirements is a plus.
Schedule and Location
· Ability to work from a remote office with reliable internet access as needed
· Periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
· Moderate travel to partner sites, conferences, and stakeholder events; approximately 20% of time involves regional day travel throughout New York State.
Security Clearance Eligibility
· Incumbents are expected to hold US Secret Clearance.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
