Help People Change Their Lives—One Conversation at a Time.
At Douglas Family & Animal Chiropractic, every conversation has the potential to change a life.
One day, you might encourage a veteran who thought chronic pain was simply part of getting older. The next, you could help a young mom finally find hope after months of headaches. Or you may celebrate with a patient who's able to pick up their grandchild again without pain. Those moments are why we come to work.
We're looking for someone who believes that exceptional care begins long before an adjustment and continues long after a patient leaves our office. Someone who loves educating, encouraging, and empowering others while helping them confidently begin their journey toward better health.
Who We Are
Welcome to Douglas Family & Animal Chiropractic—where every visit feels like catching up with old friends. We're a family-centered chiropractic practice serving people of all ages—and yes, even their four-legged family members. We're passionate about natural healthcare, lifelong learning, and creating an experience where every patient feels genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. We work hard. We laugh often. We celebrate wins. We support one another. We continue learning. We genuinely enjoy coming to work, and we never lose sight of why we're here. Around here... Patients aren't numbers. They're parents. Grandparents. Veterans. Kids. Business owners. Farmers. Teachers. Blue Collar Athletes. People who simply want their lives back. And yes... Sometimes they're horses, dogs, goats, cows, and just about every furry family member you can imagine.
Our mission is simple: Help people and animals move better, feel better, and live better, one adjustment at a time.
About the Role
Our Patient Success Advocate is one of the most important members our patients meet because you'll help them understand why chiropractic care matters and give them the confidence to begin their journey.
- You'll help people move from fear...to hope.
- From pain...to possibility.
- From "I'm not sure." to "I'm ready."
You'll be the bridge between the doctor's recommendations and a patient's confidence to begin care. You're a guide. A coach. A teacher. A cheerleader. An advocate.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day looks a little different, but your impact will always be the same. Here's what you can expect:
- Welcome new patients with warmth, professionalism, genuine enthusiasm, and confidence.
- Build meaningful relationships that make patients feel comfortable, heard, and valued.
- Assist doctor(s) during exams and consultations to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Educate patients about their personalized care recommendations using language that's easy to understand.
- Help patients navigate care options, financial arrangements, and scheduling so they can confidently move forward with treatment.
- Answer questions and overcome concerns with empathy—not pressure.
- Coordinate care, treatments, and schedule appointments.
- Encourage patients throughout their health journey and celebrate their progress along the way.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and support efficient office operations.
- Collaborate with the entire team to create an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call to long-term wellness.
- Represent Douglas Family & Animal Chiropractic in the community through outreach events and relationship-building opportunities.
Who Thrives Here?
You'll probably love this role if you...
- Naturally make people feel comfortable.
- Love educating others.
- Enjoy solving problems.
- Have a contagious positive attitude.
- Are dependable and organized without being rigid.
- Can confidently guide conversations with kindness and compassion.
- Can multitask without becoming overwhelmed.
- Enjoy learning and growing professionally.
- Take initiative without waiting to be asked.
- Find joy in serving others succeed.
- Notice the little details that make a big difference.
- Believe that healthcare should always be personal.
- Want a career—not just a paycheck.
Experience We Love (But Don't Require)
We're more interested in who you are than where you've worked, but experience in any of the following is certainly helpful:
- Chiropractic or healthcare
- Marketing/Social Media Management – content creation, scheduling, cross pla
- Medical office administration, customer service
- Sales, public speaking
- Insurance – Verification, Claims, Processing, Posting, etc.
- Teaching or coaching
- Relationship management
- Hospitality
If you've never worked in chiropractic... Don't worry. We can teach chiropractic. We can't teach kindness, integrity, work ethic, and heart.
Who Probably WON'T Enjoy Working Here
Every workplace has its people. This may not be yours if...
- You're looking for a job where you can simply clock in, clock out, and do the bare minimum.
- You don't enjoy talking with people or building relationships.
- You prefer working alone rather than collaborating with a team.
- You become frustrated by change or learning new things.
- You dislike receiving coaching and feedback.
- You struggle to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- You avoid difficult conversations instead of helping people work through them.
- You believe "good enough" is good enough.
- You wait for someone to tell you what to do instead of taking initiative.
- You don't enjoy celebrating other people's victories.
- You aren't comfortable helping patients understand their care recommendations or available payment options in a compassionate, educational way.
- You don’t love dogs—which is a bit of a dealbreaker around here. Our office pups don't just think they're part of the team; they know they’re everyone’s favorite employees.
Why You'll Love It Here
- No weekends.
- Competitive pay with opportunities for performance-based growth.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- A supportive, encouraging team that genuinely enjoys working together.
- Opportunities to grow personally, professionally, and financially.
- A workplace where your ideas matter.
- You smile easily. You laugh often.
- The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life every single day.
A Few Things You Should Know Before Applying
- We believe being 5 minutes early means you're on time.
- We celebrate wins—big and small.
- We help each other without saying, "That's not my job.”
- We believe every patient deserves the same level of care we'd want for our own family.
- We value honesty over perfection. Mistakes happen; integrity matters.
- We take our mission seriously—but we don't take ourselves too seriously.
- We occasionally celebrate with homemade treats, birthday lunches, and plenty of laughter.
- You'll probably leave work knowing more about chiropractic, horses, dogs, and wellness than you ever expected.
