We are seeking an experienced Fertilization Technician to provide professional fertilizer, weed, pest, and fungicide control services for commercial and residential properties.
This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring technical knowledge, licensing, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and excelent customer service.

This is not an entry-level position. Required licenses and experience must be current and verifiable.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Z-Spray or similar spray equipment
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur License – REQUIRED. Applicants must have an acceptable driving record and be eligible to be added to the company's vehicle insurance policy.
- Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator Licenses 3A – REQUIRED
- Reliable transportation
- Strong working knowledge of fertilizer, weed control, pest control, fungicides, and chemical applications
- Ability to work year-round
- Ability to lift 50 lb fertilizer bags
- Comfortable with bending, stooping, lifting, stretching, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
- Michigan Commercial Pesticide Applicator 3B License
- Categories 6, 7A and 7F
- Tree and shrub identification knowledge
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) experience
- Snow removal experience
Key Responsibilities
- Apply fertilizer, herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides using granular and liquid application systems
- Safely mix, load, transport, apply, and store chemicals in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Evaluate properties for weeds, insects, diseases, and environmental stressors
- Diagnose turf, tree, and shrub issues and recommend appropriate treatments
- Read, understand, and follow all product labels and SDS documentation
- Maintain accurate pesticide application records in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Comply with posting requirements, chemical handling protocols, and company safety standards
- Operate, maintain, and transport trucks, tankers, spray pumps, Z-Spray equipment and injection tools
- Load and unload equipment, materials, and fertilizer bags
- Track job time accurately to meet production and labor targets
- Monitor treatment results and communicate progress to customers
- Deliver professional, courteous, and timely service to clients and team members
