Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Line Cook / Grill Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and efficiency, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your energy and culinary expertise will contribute to creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, focusing on grill and line station operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting improvements for dishes
Handle food safely during preparation, cooking, and serving processes, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Support catering events and special functions by providing timely meal preparation and presentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient service delivery
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or issues

Skills

Extensive culinary experience with a focus on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety
Proven experience in restaurant or fine dining environments, demonstrating high-quality food presentation
Strong knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and precise cuts
Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide practices is a plus
Ability to plan menus that meet customer preferences while maintaining consistency and quality
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team during service
