Join a Nationally Recognized Plastic Surgery Practice

A nationally recognized plastic surgeon is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our team as an Aesthetic Office Nurse. We are looking for a dedicated, caring, compassionate, and reliable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional care to our cosmetic surgery patients.

Requirements:

Current NJ RN license (required)
Knowledge of cosmetic procedures (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Familiarity with Vectra Imaging (a plus, not required)
Experience using EMR systems (experience with Nextech, specifically, a plus)

Position Overview:

This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities. From initial consultation to postoperative care, the RN will play an integral role in patient education, preparation, and support throughout the patient’s surgical journey.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Prepare exam rooms and assist the surgeon during consultations and procedures
Escort patients to rooms, act as chaperone when appropriate, take pre and post procedure photographs
Ensure smooth patient flow and manage daily schedules
Stock and maintain clean exam rooms with adequate medical supplies
Perform telephone screening of new consult patients to assess surgical candidacy
Prepare paperwork / packets for surgical cases, order post-operative prescriptions
Provide pre-and postoperative guidance and maintain clear patient communication
Remove sutures and drains as needed
Order surgical implants and other required supplies for surgical cases
Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow ASPS and OSHA standards
Foster a positive team environment and uphold excellent patient relations
Maintain enthusiasm and provide support in all patient communications
Act as a team player in a central role within our practice
