Full Job Description

Overview
Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology, Robbinsdale, Minnesota. This travel assignment starts on 08/17/2026 and runs for 10 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,656 to $2,821. Shift is days, typically 8-hour shifts (5 days per week); 10-hour shifts may be considered if an 8-hour schedule is preferred. The position supports interventional radiology procedures within a hospital setting.

Setting: Interventional Radiology within a hospital

Responsibilities

Deliver holistic nursing care to IR patients throughout the peri-procedural continuum, including pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure monitoring
Assist with IR procedures, set up and maintain sterile technique, and monitor hemodynamics during interventions
Administer medications and contrast as ordered, and manage IV access and fluid management
Monitor vital signs, assess for complications, and intervene per protocol to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with the IR team and other disciplines; participate in care planning, patient education, and discharge planning
Document care and interventions in the electronic health record (Epic preferred), maintain accurate nursing records, and ensure continuity of care

Requirements

Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license
BLS and ACLS certification required
3+ years of critical care experience (ED/ICU) with interventional radiology nursing experience preferred
Adult patient population experience; IR nursing experience required
Epic experience preferred; stroke experience preferred
Current skills checklist (within 1 year) and 2 supervisory references with dates employed listed
Submission requirements: all RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; must be eligible to work in the USA
