What you'll do
Review and sign off on corporate tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120-S) and complex high-net-worth individual returns (Form 1040).
Oversee fiduciary income tax compliance (Form 1041) for trusts and estates, including grantor trust analysis, DNI calculations, and IRD handling.
Lead estate and gift tax planning engagements alongside estate planning attorneys, utilizing irrevocable trusts, FLPs, and charitable entities.
Deliver integrated, multi-generational tax advisory to business owners, executives, and fiduciaries across corporate, personal, and trust matters.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate tax staff and seniors, driving team-wide technical growth.
Research multi-layered tax issues and author technical memos to guide both staff and client decision-making.
Drive practice expansion through proactive business development and community engagement.
What you need
8+ years of progressive public accounting experience across corporate, high-net-worth, and fiduciary taxation.
Active CPA license.
Hands-on expertise reviewing Forms 1120, 1120-S, 1040 (HNW), and 1041.
Proficiency with tax preparation and research tools like CCH Axcess, GoSystem, or Bloomberg Tax.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of managing a concurrent client portfolio.
Nice to have
Master's degree in Taxation (MST) or LL.M. in Taxation.
Experience with charitable trust structures or closely held business succession planning.
Prior success expanding existing client relationships and participating in new business pitches.
