Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to join our dynamic food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, delicious ice cream products while adhering to strict safety, sanitation, and quality standards. Duties
- Prepare and mix ingredients according to standardized recipes and production documents, ensuring consistency in flavor and texture
- Operate industrial ice cream manufacturing equipment, including mixers, pasteurizers, homogenizers, and packaging machinery
- Maintain strict compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety management protocols
- Conduct routine equipment troubleshooting and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Follow safety standards in production, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils regularly to uphold sanitation standards and prevent contamination
- Interpret manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately and document production activities diligently
- Assist with packaging finished products efficiently while maintaining quality control standards
- Support heavy lifting tasks as needed during ingredient handling or product movement using appropriate tools like forklifts
Requirements
- Prior experience in food processing or dairy goods production is highly preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), safety protocol adherence, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in food production
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
- Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely
- Basic math skills for measurements, recipe adjustments, and quality checks
- Strong internal communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and GMP requirements in a manufacturing environment
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Familiarity with packaging processes and the use of industrial equipment such as forklifts is a plus
