Within the case management department, the Director of Case Management and Utilization Review will provide department-wide leadership through a full-time day shift role with comprehensive case management and utilization review oversight. Key priorities include staff mentoring and development, budget ownership, regulatory compliance leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and care-transition improvement. By advancing utilization management, utilization review, discharge planning, resource stewardship, and continuity-of-care practices, this leader will make a strong community impact.

The RN Director of Case Management will report to senior hospital leadership and receive executive support, operational resources, and partnership from clinical and administrative leaders. Responsibilities include guiding daily departmental operations, coaching team members, monitoring quality and utilization metrics, supporting regulatory readiness, managing financial performance, and developing efficient care-coordination processes. The Case Management Services Director will collaborate with friendly nurses and a diverse team of physicians, social workers, therapists, utilization review professionals, financial counselors, and other healthcare specialists dedicated to safe, timely, and patient-centered transitions.
