We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Bilingual Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing ophthalmology practice. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you!

Our practice specializes in Cornea, Cataract, and General Ophthalmology and provides a professional, team-oriented environment where every employee plays an important role in patient care.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

Bilingual in English and Spanish – speaking and reading Spanish is required
Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Friendly, professional, and compassionate
Flexible and dependable
Able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable adapting to changing schedules and patient needs
Able to effectively manage patient flow and prioritize tasks
A team player who takes initiative and enjoys helping others

Schedule & Locations

Full-time, Monday–Friday
Must be willing and able to work between the hours of 7:15 AM and 4:30 PM
Primary location: Round Rock
Must be willing to travel weekly to our Taylor and Georgetown offices
Reliable transportation is required

Responsibilities

Clinical & Patient Care Duties:

Perform preliminary patient testing, including visual acuity, intraocular pressure, and basic vision testing
Assist with Light Adjustable Lens workup and treatments
Assist with diagnostic testing, including visual fields, OCT, and fundus photography
Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient care and procedures
Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms
Obtain and accurately document patient medical histories
Efficiently manage patient flow and help keep the clinic running on schedule
Scribe and assist the physician during patient examinations
Electronically send prescriptions
Triage patient calls and assist with patient questions and concerns
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Perform other duties as assigned by the physicians and/or Clinical Manager

Experience

Ophthalmic technician experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate!
