New Student Department Executive – Dance Studio (Full Time)
The New Student Department Executive is responsible for guiding prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment, creating an exceptional first impression and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. This role serves as the primary sales and relationship manager for all new student prospects, with a focus on converting leads into active students and maximizing enrollment into lesson packages, memberships, classes, and studio programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert all incoming leads and scheduled consultations generated by the Leads Manager into enrolled students.
- Sell introductory packages and enrollment programs to prospective students.
- Conduct consultations with instructors and prospective students to identify goals, assess needs, and curate the most appropriate program recommendation.
- Recommend and present lesson packages, memberships, programs, and event opportunities based on student goals and interests.
- Close sales and secure enrollments while maintaining a consultative, relationship-focused approach.
- Own and manage the entire new student sales pipeline from initial contact through enrollment and onboarding.
- Track lead activity, follow-up schedules, conversion rates, and enrollment metrics through CRM and studio management systems.
- Develop and execute lead nurturing strategies to increase inquiry-to-enrollment conversion rates.
- Coordinate new student onboarding, including scheduling, instructor introductions, and first-lesson preparation.
- Collaborate with instructors and management to ensure students are placed into programs that support long-term retention and success.
- Monitor enrollment trends and provide recommendations to improve sales processes, pricing strategies, promotions, and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, student communication, package purchases, and enrollment outcomes.
- Assist with open houses, beginner workshops, showcases, and promotional events designed to generate and convert new student leads.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students until they are fully integrated into the studio community.
Qualifications
- Strong emphasis on sales performance, customer service, and relationship-building.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-up abilities.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and conversion targets.
- Experience in consultative sales, enrollment management, hospitality, fitness, dance, or service-based industries preferred.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM, scheduling, and studio management software.

- Consultation-to-enrollment conversion rate.
- Total new student revenue generated.
- Average package sale value.
- Package and membership sales volume.
- New student retention beyond the introductory package.

Compensation & Position Details
- Starting pay: $24.00 per hour
- Full-time position averaging 36 hours per week.
- Earn an additional 3% commission on all closed sales generated through the New Student Department.
- Opportunity for significant earnings growth through sales performance and enrollment success.
- This is a fully in-person position and requires on-site attendance during all scheduled working hours. Hours range from 12:30p.m - 9:30p.m Monday-Thursday and 2pm-7pm on Fridays.
- The New Student Department Executive is expected to maintain a professional appearance, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as a key representative of the studio culture and brand.
- Full-time position with performance reviews based on conversion rates, revenue generated, package sales volume, retention, and achievement of departmental sales goals.
